this game is the 3rd one in the series! I recommend playing the other 2 first so that you can get a good idea of what the storyline of shadowgun is. The story leaves off when the team seeks refuge on the barren wasteland known as Earth, but not everything is as it seems on this curious, unstable planet... thanks to tstitch33 for the background music
