Make sure you wait until the animation on that page has finished. This is the very first episode in what I want to be a regular sci fi comic strip. I got the inspiration for the name, from a Star Trek Voyager episode. The basic idea comes from many different old TV shows and comics. Namely Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, Dan Dare, etc... Basically Captain Proton is plagiarism with a bit of ingenuity stuck in. For a while I've wanted to do some kind of "BIG" sci fi thing on scratch. At first I wanted to make a video game. I released an ad for an unmade game called The Resonator. I haven't done anything with that. But then I got a big book of Buck Rogers comics, and got the idea for making a regular comic strip on scratch. I didn't think anybody had ever made a regular (captain proton will be every week) comic strip on scratch, so I started drawing pictures and coming up with ideas. Hopefully I'll be able to make at least 52 Captain Proton comics, enough for one whole year, but I want the comics to go on for longer. The comics will be animation/graphic novels. For episodes with big space ship battles, I'll probably make the whole episode an animation. I don't think I'll do any voices for the episodes, but if enough people would be willing to do voices for me I'll add them.
