This program estimate how far away a lightning strike is. Press and hold the lightning button or space bar when lightning strikes. Release your finger when you hear the thunder clap. **If you can hear thunder, you are close enough for lightning to hit you! Go indoors!**
This works because light travels faster than sound. You can do this less accurately in your head, just count "one-thousand" or "Mississippi seconds" and divide by 5.
