I'm planning to make season II, so ideas are welcome. if you find any glitches, please leave a comment. also, if you have any ideas, or something is off balance, please leave a comment so i can fix or add them. this is a very complicated game, so use the adviser when you start. ----------------------------------------[controls]--------------------------------------- use space key to open menu click the land to build the structures. if your town runs out of food, the game ends. also, if your town loses at war, the game also ends. and, if you don't provide enough cultural points, your citizens might cause a rebellion and overthrow you. of course, the game ends. ------------------------------------------[tips]------------------------------------------- you can click the buttons in overspeed now! the glitch is fixed! farmlands near water gives more food than normal. if you have no farmers on the winter, there is no one to plant the crops, so the crops won't grow. even if you hire a farmer on the spring, it's too late for the crops to be planted. well... the industrial age update is not completed, so the fossil fuels and some other stuffs are useless at the moment =( building a market in the beginning is really important. you could easily starve at early season, and there is no way to get food besides farming. but what if there is a way? if you build a market, [trade] activity in the [products] section will be unlocked. and you can trade foods with coins! you can also buy or sell other resources. it's essential to your city's survival. 1 farmlands can include 1 farmers (well, if you do some farming research, this could change) 1 mines can include 2 miners but diamond mines can only include 1 miners 1 barracks can include 5 soldiers 1 laboratories can include 4 researchers 1 hospitals can include 5 doctors the resources depend on the number of the people. if you have some mines but no miners, the mineral production will be zero. also, if you have miners but no mines, the mineral production will also be zero. you might think that diamonds and golds are useless, but you can make them into accessories in the jewelry shops then sell them in high price. building barracks and hiring soldiers might look like a waste. besides, you love peace. and even if you don't, there is no enemy city to invade. but if you don't hire soldiers, bandits and enemies will invade to your city. and if you lose at war(not enemy invasion), the game ends. so if you want to protect your city from your violent naighbors, build barracks and hire soldiers! it's important to consider every object in this game. for instance, your intrest is concentrated on coins, that you failed to check your food supply. then what happens? your citizens all starves to death and your city is destroyed. here's another example. your intrest was highly concentrated on your low food supply, that you didn't noticed your negative cultural points. your citizens are unhappy and decided to overthrow you. even if you succeeded to put down the rebellion, your city's economy is highly damaged and you'll have a hard time rebuilding your city. so pay attention to everything! (especially your food supply and cultural points) base builds : (year 0) : (cut trees), (cut trees), (cultivate), (house & 1 farmer) (year 1) : (cut trees), (cut trees), (market), (cultivate) (year 2) : (whatever you want, but i suggest you build more farms) (this build is not necessary, but it is the most stable build.. i guess)
