So after I beat the EoC I suddenly started getting frequent visits from the neighbors. They weren't friendly and kept leaving spiky balls everywhere. I guess the guide heard a commotion and came outside, because I had forgotten to block the doors. I had to switch from an offensive to a defensive strat, since he wouldn't go back inside. In the end, I saved the guide from the hordes of oncoming goblins.
