First the Wii channels, and on tuesday Nintendo Wi-Fi will be gone. I have no clue about it being gone forever. But good thing Wii shop and internet channels were not gone forever. Good thing we got Nintendo Network. We will miss you Nintendo Wi-Fi and you were awesome for people to play online.
