Instructions

please ignore the chair it's just a sketch to show he's not floating there lol um on the first slide it's supposed to be the "scratch style challenge" not just the "scratch challenge"... yo if your style was the one that got "stolen" tell me how I did! Or even if you just know one of the artists that I emulated. also let me know if you see any elements that appear to be mine despite trying to copy the styles of others :3 i spent way too much of my life on this

Description

i'm sorry for my choice of song, but then again, i'm not really sorry. Use arrow keys to look through the drawings! Scratch Style Challenge is where you draw in the styles of other Scratchers. Most people drew humans for the challenge, but I've been in a Sonic phase lately... This is a character from the Archie Sonic Comics, Elias Acorn! I know it said to draw your own OCs, but I don't have any ready to show you guys yet, and I really wanted to draw him, so, just deal with it ;p I'll describe the features of each style that I had to think about. Going in order: 1. Neutral/Comic - Since I don't have animal OCs that I draw regularly, I don't have a go-to style. This is based off the Sonic Universe comics, which were penciled by Tracey Yardley but colored and inked by other artists. The heads of Sonic characters are disproportionately large compared to human anatomy, as are hands and feet. Torsos on this type of "Mobian" (a Sonic anthro basically) are also pretty small. As a comic style, it's pretty minimalistic for efficiency and clarity's sake; they need to stand out from the backgrounds using black lines and distinct colors. 2. @milk-draqon or https://pontiikii.deviantart.com/ where she is more active - this is based mostly on her Sonic OC style, so it looks similar-ish to the first. But there are some key differences. The style is a little simpler and angular in some places. As for anatomy, the head and feet are smaller, and Elias actually has a neck now. Arms and legs are a bit more straight-through as well. The coloring is brighter, and the shading is cel with scratch-like marks at its edges 3. @YaguYogur - okay so I wrote descriptions for all of these styles, but then something weird happened cause I had this project open on two computers and it apparently did not save... so I will write these later, just have the art for now. 4. @Porphyrophobia 5. @yunnie2005 6. @meowthatfrombb
