Controls: Arrow keys to move. [ Q ] maintains the direction you are facing. [ E ] to switch between the dagger and sword. Open doors by striking them with the sword. WASD to attack. I suggest trying out all the controls for all the weapons on the first screen. Hi everyone! I'm working on finishing a lot of my biggest projects. Here's the base engine of a project that I started coding in 2014. I worked on it for a week but I got discouraged by a number of glitches that I couldn't solve, and I stopped working on it. Since then, I've gotten a lot better at programming, so I'm keeping most of the graphics and starting the coding almost entirely over. There isn't much you can do in this base project, but I promise that there'll be lots to do in the finished version, which I hope to share soon! For now you can run around the labyrinth and expand it. Troubleshooting: Sword thrown and stuck in wall: Run up to it and press Z. Hero stuck in a wall: Face away from the wall and press X. Press C to return to outside the Labyrinth without losing any of your progress.
All the art and coding done by me, except for the code for the amount the sword swings, which was developed by @DanloVorje. The original project was inspired by @DanloVorje and his project Greyscale Adventure Beta. Back in 2014 when I started coding this project, @zapmaster was one of my earliest inspirations. Thanks to Nintendo and The Legend of Zelda series for massive inspiration. Special thanks to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for being the first video game I ever played. The hearts mechanic was taken from Legend of Zelda.
