You can remix to add a fusion of two characters from the thumbnail. You cannot do one that has been done before. You can use both bitmaps and vectors, so try to use either for what you prefer. I already have put five fusions in: Nova's Creation, The Greatest Warrior Known to Popstar, Cute-Powerful Being, Masked Sectonia, and The Ultimate Star Warrior. As you can tell from Masked Sectonia, I can't draw Queen Sectonia well, so I just try to, only for it to not look like Sectonia at all. Yes, the first letter of every name is correlated to the backdrop colors. I made it that way so you could know which colors go to which characters. Yes you can add names to the list, but make sure the color hasn't been used already, but you can't use characters you've created or fanon things.
