PICTURE 1: Toothless Step 1: I started with the basic red, and changed to a different color to straighten out things. In Purple, I made a basic design of Toothless's head, and his mouth. The green represents close parts, and I edited the mouth to be purple. (also, the green also represents the bumps underneath his detail.) The yellow is where I'll probably shade. Step 2: I started with the black color, drawing his eyes, nose and mouth. Next, I put toothless's spikes. I erased the red and blue, leaving the shade and closed colors. I colored in the eyes, any style can work. I added the bumps on his ears, then erased the lines. I picked up a dark gray, and added a dark blue for shading. Finished up shading. Add some highlights for the teeth. I then colored a background and put his name; Toothless. PICTURE 2: Stormfly Step 1: I added the face lines, and the neck. Added spikes. The green represents eyes in this picture. yellow as shading, and tada. Step 2: I started with a mouth (Will looked better one done.). I added the spikes, more pointed this time. Put in eyes, full face, and neck. The eyes didn't look right. So I changed it to one eye.\ Colored in with a light blue, matched with a sandy tan. Shading and eye detail. Sky blue background, and name; Stormfly. PICTURE 3: Barf and Belch Step 1: We start with the neck, and face. The blue represents the scales and spike. We added the horns in purple. Green is eyes and face. It looks a bit weird at first. New color! Orange to show the patterned rings. And of course, the yellow shading. Step 2: I started drawing the horns, and drawing the scales down its back. Don't put the scales too close together. I added the face and neck. They have kind of beaks. Anyway, don't forget the spikes! I erased all, and I fixed my mistake of not realizing that the spike was not on Belch. I added their big round eyes, and filled it in with shades of yellow. And a white circle to show reflection. I added a kind of tan to the neck, and the horns were made brown. The spike on their face is kinda green/yellow, so I did that. And also, yes, I already added shading on the spike. I added green, filled in the scales, and best of all, added the red pattern on their backs. Made a blue background with lightning and zippleback gas.Don't forget their name; Barf and Belch.
