Florets start from the center and turn the golden angle. The golden angle turn is the best way to fill space. Count the clockwise spirals. Count the counter-clockwise spirals. Both will be Fibonacci numbers. (I colored every other floret orange, the rest are blue, just to make counting easier). Sunflowers, daisies and other flowers have this type of spiral patterns.
