Welcome to Powerup Arena! A unique multiplayer arena shooter different from the rest. With 13 different powerups so far, it only takes a push of a button to completely turn the tables on your opponent, or for them to finally finish you off! After playing this, your idea of arena shooters will never again be the same! (Powerup descriptions are below) Player 1: Use WASD to move. Use F to shoot. Use E to use powerup. Player 2: Use the arrow keys to move. Use spacebar to shoot. Use M to use powerup. Powerups: Circles / Shock - A shockwave erupts from the player, dealing medium damage! (What if you trap them in a corner while shooting?) Spike / Slice - A spike appears and swings around the player, dealing medium damage for each hit! (I wonder if you could move over the opponent and use it..?) Line / Laser - A large laser shoots from the player, lingering a bit before disappearing, dealing high damage! (What if you could make a wall with it..?) Square / Boulder - A square boulder shoots from the player, dealing high damage! (What if you could chase them down with it?) X - X-shaped lines erupt from the player, dealing medium damage! (What if you can get near them and take them by surprise?) Cross / + - +-shaped lines erupt from the player, dealing medium damage! (What if you can get near them and take them by surprise?) Rectangle / Wall - A wall moves before the player, stopping the opponent from moving through it and shooting through it! (What if you could corner them with it and then shoot them while they're trapped?) Cut Circle / Pulse - A cut circle explodes from the player, dealing medium damage! (What if you could take them by surprise?) Dots / Implosion - A circle of dots appear around the player, and implode back into them, dealing damage to the opponent if they are caught in it! (Does not deal damage to the player using Implosion) (What if you could get close and take them by surprise?) Circle / Black Hole - A small bullet is fired, but explodes upon impact with anything! (What if you could chase them down and corner them?) Green Sigil / Ultra - With a 1 in 25 chance of spawning, the Ultra Powerup is the strongest of all powerups, wreaking havoc on the opposing player and dealing ridiculous damage! I'll leave how it does it for you to find out... (What if you could actually get it..?) Red Sigil / Health - This raises your health by 20. (What if you could use this just before you get hit?) Blue Sigil / Escape - This will move you to somewhere in the map where there isn't the boundary, very helpful. But beware, it can take you anywhere, even into an enemy's range! (What if you could use this while cornered?)
