Warning: This is NOT my predictions, the Red Sox aren't going to keep their .744 winning percentage nor will there be 6 teams with 100+ loss seasons
If MLB standings somehow stay on exactly the same path they are right now, the results are gonna be pretty weird (x = wild card). My local AAA team is 9-15 so yeah they aren't doing great This is not my prediction for the whole season, although my opinions are in the parenthesis if I have any. That could be a future project AL East: Red Sox 120-42 (All time wins record, tied for 2nd best winning percentage of all time and highest winning percentage in the live ball era) xYankees 106-56 (for 2nd in their division they have a better record than the best usually have. Also you're heating up, that division lead will be yours in a month) Blue Jays 90-72 (VERY good for a 3rd place team in such a highly contested area) Rays 75-87 Orioles 46-116 (14th worst team ever in the modern era, but they aren't even the worst offense) AL Central (most likely the worst division performance ever): Indians 87-75 (one of the worst teams that'd ever make the playoffs by record count, although I do know the Indians are a pretty darn good team and will climb out eventually) Tigers 69-92 Twins 63-99 White Sox 52-110 Royals 37-125 (Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the 4th worst team in the history of professional baseball including the 1800s that actually completed a season) AL West (2nd most normal division, not saying too much though): Astros 106-56 (Congrats Astros, unlike most of the teams you've been pretty consistent, this seems like a very good possibility) Mariners 96-66 xAngels 96-66 A's 81-81 Texans 61-101 (hey you aren't making any worst lists by a wide margin unlike a few of these guys, nice job) NL East: Mets 104-58 (not as amazing as your 149-13 pace earlier and it looks like you'll be slipping down even further) Phillies 96-66 (you've been pretty consistent, a wild card spot awaits) xBraves 96-66 (yeah same with you too but you're probably an even safer bet for it) Nationals 70-92 (congrats, you won the coin toss between you and the Reds, here's an extra win towards your way below expectations performance so far) Marlins 54-108 (this is what you get for trading literally every notable player you had) NL Central: Pirates 98-64 (you went way up, went back down, are are suddenly up again, how) xCubs 97-65 (hey you've actually dug yourself outta that weird hole, another 100+ win season seems to await) Cardinals 90-72 (you and the Brewers are gonna have a wild race for the wild card) Brewers 89-73 (I'm predicting the Cards edge you out by 2 games in a mad dash to the finish. Sorry, Brewers) Reds 40-122 (you lost that coin toss with the Nationals which means you now even an even worse record breaking number. You will have the 2nd worst record in the history of modern era baseball if you keep this up) NL West (Hey you're the most normal division but just barely, those Diamondbacks are pretty crazy right now): Diamondbacks 114-48 (Nobody gives you enough credit for what's happening. If you keep this up you will be tied for the 10th best team in the history of baseball) Rockies 84-78 (It may seem disappointing compared to some of the others on here but this is a VERY normal record. Win 3-4 more games than projected so far and you've most likely got yourself the wild card spot) Giants 78-84 (a mirrored Rockies record, but a winning record by one win looks WAY better than a losing record by one loss, so just put some extra effort in a few times and it might help you out a little) Dodgers 75-87 (I mean nothing can really be told about a team until July-August but goodness what's even happened? Good news for you though a .462 percentage isn't a terrible hole to get out of early in the season, another division win comes for you) Padres 58-104 (I'd say something but the Padres have always sucked)
