Instructions

In this game, you will be playing Mario Party style, vying to collect the most Stars and Coins. You can play with up to 4 players, with Human or CPU. To set up a multiplayer board game, do the following: 1. At the Main Menu, click Free Play. 2. You may be asked to play Story Mode first, if so, press N. 3. Click the P2 button to set to Human. You can add more players by clicking the P3 and P4 buttons and setting them to Human or CPU. You can also do a 1-player game against 3 CPU by setting P2 to CPU and clicking the P3 and P4 buttons so that they are both CPU. 4. Set the number of turns (known as Game Length in-game), and press OK! to continue. When asked to play Minigame Tent, press N. 5. Choose a board. Some boards cannot be played until certain conditions are met. Note: You cannot access More Boards unless you unlock Yoshi's Changing Spaces or create a board. 6. Start the Game! Note: Unless you did not press the Green Flag, the default player settings in Free Play mode is a 2-player game with P1 as Human and P2 as CPU. You can add more players by clicking the P3 and P4 buttons and setting them to Human or CPU. You can also set so that P1 is a CPU or that P2 is a Human. When it's your turn, click the dice block to roll. The minigames have it's own controls, which is before a minigame starts. The objective is to have the most stars when the game ends. Spaces: Blue: Eans you 3/6 coins. Red: Takes away 3/6 coins. Green: Draws a random card. Yellow: Go again! Bowser: BOWSER Time! Something bad (or good) is gonna happen. Bowser Jr.: If you land on this space. Bowser Jr. will set up a trap. It's good to land on it, because if you're the last one to land on a Bowser Jr. space and you land on the trap, nothing actually happens. If another player lands on the trap, they have to give you all their coins and stars. Even in 2 player games, if you're the last one to land on the Bowser Jr. space, nothing happens if you land on the trap. Minigames in Party Mode: When each player has made their turn, a Minigame begins. The team the player will be on depends on which space the player landed on. If the player lands on a Blue Space, Bowser Jr. Space or Green Space, the player will be on the Blue Team. If the player lands on a Red Space or Bowser Space, the player will be on the Red Team. The following conditions will cause the minigame to be free-for-all: - If all players land on Blue Spaces - If all players land on Red Spaces - If only 2 players are playing - If a Battle Minigame is called. Minigames except Battle Minigames award 10 coins to each winner in the minigame. However, if TIE! appears on the screen, no one will win coins. In Battle Minigames, you must wager coins depending on what the Minigame Wager says. The winner will get all coins wagered. If there is a 1st place tie, the winnings will be split. There are 3 different minigames. Last-5-Turns: When the party is almost over, a bonus to the last place player is given then the board is filled with coins. Red and Green Spaces are worth 5 coins and other spaces are worth 1 coin.

Description

ANNOUNCEMENT: Currently working on Mario Party 8 Scratch, with an unknown release date (estimate: 2017). I will make this game using 1.4 and upload this using 2.0, and it will have many changes: - Certain fonts will be replaced with the New Super Mario Bros. U font (also in Mario Party 9) and Super Mario Script 3 font (used in Mario Kart games from Double Dash!! to Wii). - There will be character voices. They will be based off Mario Party 8. Note: Characters that don't appear in Mario Party 8 don't have character voices. - Currently confirmed is one new minigame and three returning minigames. It can only be accessed through the Minigame Tent. Note: It is unknown if more minigames will be added. There are currently 4 confirmed minigames. - You will be able to select your character from the 26 characters available. They will appear as sprites in board games and the Rankings screen, but they don't appear on minigames. 21 of the character sprites are from Fortune Street, three will be from Mario Kart Wii, one will be from Mario Party 8 and one will be from Mario Party 9. - Will be the first Mario Party Scratch game to introduce unlockable characters, as five characters require unlocking. - The cost of continuing in Story Mode after a loss will change depending on how far you progressed (later levels require more stars). - You will be able to pick the CPU's level from six different levels. This does NOT affect board gameplay, only minigames. - There will be a reduction of luck-based events; steal-star events will be dropped altogether and the steal-coin events will only affect 25%, 33% or 50% of a player's coin count (depending on the number of players). - At the end of a minigame, party or during the last 5 turns, a Rankings screen displays each character's position, stars and coins. Note that the Stars max out at 99 and Coins max out at 999 but they are still counted in speech bubbles and in-game in each variable display. - You will be able to make up to 10 custom boards! You will be able to play up to 16 boards in Mario Party 8 Scratch! That is, 6 Story Mode boards and 10 Custom boards! - Will revamp Story Mode, fixed multiple glitches and a certain glitch in Yoshi's Changing Spaces where if P3 wins a tiebreaker the board will be a loss. There will no minimum to access a board in Story Mode. - Board Space size may be reduced, if so Story Mode board layouts will be changed - that is, each board will have 24 spaces except two boards: one with 30 and one with 36; and you can create custom boards from 16 spaces to up to 50 SPACES! (There many changes that will be made, however only 12 are listed here) Welcome to my most awesome game of Mario Party yet! With yet more secrets and more customisation modes, there's no end to the party. You can save up to three boards. To play your own board, click on free play, set up the players, click OK, then More Boards, and click on the number of the board you wanna play. Simple. Click on the dice block when it's your turn. When it's not your turn, it'll stop automatically. To save your game when you are finished, download it and select File, then click on Save, and you're done! Blue spaces give you 3 coins, red spaces take 3 coins. They get doubled the last 5 turns! If you land on green, a card gets drawn. Beware of the BOWSER spaces. If you land on yellow, you get to roll again. The orange spaces are BOWSER Jr. spaces. Beware: He's causes a lot of mischief. Land on him and he sets up a trap on any random space. You won't see it until someone lands on it. From special surprises to hidden secrets, this game has more hidden secrets than almost any other Scratch game! If you lose, only the stars earned during that attempt will be used to clear story mode. Any other star will go towards an award! Changes from Mario Party 5 Scratch by game04389: Added sound effects. Up to 4 players can play, with Human or CPU. You can specify the number of turns from 6 to 50. There are minigames. Locked boards appear as Locked instead of the board name. Blank Custom Boards appear as No File instead. Bowser Time appear at the bottom of the screen instead of the center. You can jump straight to a minigame. Board changes. Players don't disappear when they finish their turn, this is due to the coding that determines the costume number instead of sensing color. Fast-paced gameplay, thanks for the lack of speech bubbles on Blue or Red spaces as a sound effect will confirm.
