I was looking at the calendar and saw that Earth day was coming up, so I decided to make a project celebrating that. I thought a craft would be fun, but I wanted it to involve recycling...so here we are! :D I hope you have fun making these! ❤ The inspiration for these crafts came from two YouTube tutorials, one by Viviane Rose, and one by DreamWorks TV. All I did was translate the instructions to animation form and create the art. Also, I watched both of @ivypool2's DIYs to get an idea of how to make this project. This should be done widthwise, so that the sticker paper can fit onto the can as a new "label". ③ Cut the sticker paper out, then stick it onto the can. ④ Decorate the can using stickers or any other supplies you have. A personal favorite of mine is ribbon and sequins. ⑤ If your can is taller than it is wide, use it as a pencil holder for your desk. If it is wider than it is tall, fill it with soil, and use it as a pot for flowers. ⑥ For the last DIY, repeat step ①. ⑦ Lay the can on its side, and place your hand on it firmly. You don't want it rolling around during this step. ⑧ Take your hammer and nail, and poke small holes into the side of the can. Once you are done, take a small light, like an electric candle, place it inside the can, and flip the can over. ⑨ Turn out the lights, and you've made a miniature starry night right in your own bedroom! Thank you so much for watching, and please let me know in the comments if you have any questions. Scratch on! ❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀ ✿ T H A N K S F O R W A T C H I N G ✿ ◎ Time: 4+ hours ♪ Music: Love Song to The Earth Instrumental ✎ Art and Coding: @rainbow_waves, based on YouTube videos ✲ Program: Scratch Vector Editor ❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀
