Remix tree: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/216939291/remixtree If you are the 11th remixer, you could entirely delete the intro to avoid time-constraints and save space: 1. Go to the background and delete the sound "BMS Theme" 2. Go to the "Skip" sprite 3. Set variable "Intro" to 1 (sorry about that) 4. Delete the caption and the background sprites (If you know what to do) (Sorry if I made too many of these. In fact, the 1.4 and the remake are pointless to make) The intro here is completely useless... I may be late already getting onto it's anniversary, but, I just barely even do anything in scratch nowadays. If this arena could have decent remixes, then my goal of my final arena is finally fulfilled (I will add this to some studios). If you want to check the old one here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/78611892/ Rules: #1 PRIORITY: MAKE SURE THE REMIX IS LEGITIMATE WITHOUT ANY JOKE (atleast it is not completely) OR IT IS (preferably) MISLEADING TO THE FIGHT ALREADY, AND DO NOT END THE PROJECT (Only I can do that) - Don't use other's characters to help them fight when they're there, it felt very insulting to me for you to do that as an advantage - No long arguments. Remember, there are crowds watching you to do something - Do not have an abnormal size to your character - When you remix, add +1 to the (number) in the title (i.e. (2) in the first remix). - No constant comebacks - Please be fair and serious, I don't want insult projects to happen - No OP (Over Powered). A character that is EXTREMELY immortal that cannot be even hurt anymore is not only cheating, but also breaking most of the rules as well which leads to extreme unfairness. You will get reported for this if you don't listen, or... - No cheating - No blood / gory stuffs (Dare to do this and you will be reported) - No "ugly" faces for a hurt animation + Incredibly loud / humiliating dead sounds unless the victim sprite already owns it (I'M SICK OF IT! Dare to do this, DARE, TO DO, THIS, and you will be faced with a huge consequence to your character (Specifically the ugly face makers). I would borrow some couple faces or whatever and do it back against you. automatic no credit given) Play fair, please - No recolors / bland clones of existing sprites / bases unless original enough - Bitmap is fine, just make some original sprite to your character - Don't edit or delete others (you can edit to defeat them) - No stolen specific attacks (by unique move), sprites (few exceptions if generic), or even "cutscenes" from users atleast (Alzter's scenes are a very good example) - You can now change the music, as long as it fits here. (Make sure the music doesn't waste many space (ex. 15 minutes songs)). I'd recommend MP3 type songs to save space. - Don't say "hide (name)", "delete (name)" or any similar "attacks" to these. - Don't make sprites that are just snatched from image search with little to no editing since it's not an actual sprite (e.g cover art characters.) - Do not delete costumes. (With few exceptions) - Counter attacks are only A-okay if the attack is barely even a thing (i.e. 1 second glide with no animation and sounds). If you think this would ruin the fight project, I have to think it myself because I'm not sure. - Please don't have a VERY LONG (bland) or slow fighting / moving / death animations - Do not have a bad animation since its weak (A slightly slow 1 hit KO with no animations is a good example of this) - No sound, no animation, no pain. Pretty obvious - Leaving the arena -> during <- your fight is okay. (I did not provide a background for that, you could make one) Make sure you come back to the arena. Just don't stay out too much or else you're disqualified and also face big consequences if you attempt to get in once disqualified. - If that remix hits the scratch MB limit (At least near 45 MB), cut almost all the scene in the first part. Only include the last 3-1 characters in that part, and the preceding remix should be called part 1,2, etc. (Other than that, you should NEVER include music or long sounds in your sprites.) - Make sure the remix tree gets straight. Don't remix this project if someone already did. (Unless that one is terrible enough or something) - Unlike my original arena project, you are not authorized to add rules. This is to prevent breaking some of the rules I added here (This is known as a loophole).
Due to complications the AY will only end if it will end properly while still maintaining an amount of remixes. *sigh* as of right now I changed my mind about the latest remix chain. Performance wise, I think I would recommend the first one (the most left). The rest are just bland 1v1 battles (might add a rule: Please do NOT make a 1v1 battle, especially when it looks boring to look at (i.e. "normal" characters somehow being powerful). It also pulls you both to being OP). It happened, and both are trying to end the project because they know they both don't want to give up. Scrolling isn't implemented, mostly because the background is graphic-intensive. Credits: SNK (Metal Slug 5) Crowbar Collective (Black Mesa (Mod), 2012) (Intro) Labyrinth of Tohou (Old music from the first arena, can someone give me a clear or better version?) Scratch users etc. There might be a proper ending, I guess. (maybe after 3-5 months of no remixes, or even 2 months, this arena will end and further remixes are not counted) More than one ending may occur depending on the current fight. ENDINGS: (You don't have to target the 150+ though) Nobody visits it ending - 5 or Less remixes (This ending is rather deep, given the the fact nobody wants to fight in this arena) "Small" ending - 6-12 remixes Mediocre ending - 13-20 remixes Subpar ending - 21-39 remixes Decent ending - 40-59 remixes < --- Semi Goal Good ending - 60-100 remixes < ---- Goal (if it isn't just the same people remixing it all over again (ie. few peoples are only remixing this)) Awesome ending - 101-124 remixes Wicked ending - 125-149 remixes True ending - 150+ remixes If you are able to reach the True Ending or Wicked ending, The fight will continue into the stratosphere and only high class fighters are allowed. A few more remixes and you are able to fight a final boss, which is said to be the one who made this arena (Misleading though). In fact, there was supposed to be an introduction where mysterious figures talk inside some interior looking at the arena stage, but I just don't know how to write story in that one. Note: - Time Cops, Renold, or probably some unbeatable force will come by when a consequence starts. - Likely take your time to remix. This is supposed to be an effort based AY. - You could say "remixing" if your remix would take quite long to finish. I saw some couple of problems in some AYs so this may be an optional. - Shake effect is included (Center only). - Different background sprites are provided for your attacks, etc. though I failed to update them as I only updated the main background recently - The place here is located in a third city that is unnamed on an unnamed land (along with palmer town and yope city). - I made this all the way back in september 2018. I am afraid releasing it because there might be major issues occurring in this. It got overdue to October 5 due to the unpolished intro and thumbnail, and the fact I finished the main animation too late.
