Pat is an ex-Furness Railway K2 "Larger Seagull" built by Sharp, Stewart and company in 1900. He arrived to the GTR in 1903 to pull the express. He pulled it with pride until Jay arrived to take over. Pat didn't mind terribly much and is now assigned to branch trains and various other odd jobs. No work is beneath him and is a friend to all. Here we see Pat pulling the express when he first arrived on the railway.
