Here ya go, friend, here are my entries for your furry contest (Press space to switch between entries) #4 - "Nighty Night" Name: Cosmo Gender: N/A (He/Them) Sexuality: Androsexual (He likes the dudes) Species: Feline Personality: Cosmo is a generally stoic cat who rarely shows emotion on his face. When he does, it's usually hidden by his scarf. Despite looking apathetic towards everything 99% of the time, he's a surprisingly empathetic and emotional person who has a huge soft spot for small animals of any kind. He speaks in a cold and flat voice most of the time, making him infamous among new recruits as one of the scariest officers on the spaceship "Luminary". But anyone that has known Cosmo for more than a few days knows that despite first impressions, Cosmo is one of the most caring people in the entire galaxy, and if given the opportunity would take a bullet for any one of his friends and family. Cosmo has a very strong of justice and values his friends and family over everything, even if it doesn't show at first. Backstory: Cosmo is an officer on the spaceship "Luminary", a space exploration ship funded by the IGSU (InterGalactic Space Union). He and his crew's mission is to discover uncharted planets, scan the planet for signs of life and sentient species, and report back to the IGSU every 6 months so they can take "necessary action". If the planet is unsuited for life, they usually leave it alone. If it is suitable for life, they usually claim the planet as their own land. If it's inhabited by sentient species, the IGSU make the decision to either make contact with them or simply leave them alone if their level of technology isn't high enough. On the ship, Cosmo has the job of training and supervising new recruits, and coming out on planet scouting missions when necessary. Due to complicated circumstances in his childhood, he has spent most of his life being cared for by the IGSU, making him feel as if he is indebted to the Union. This makes him one of the most hardworking members of the ship. He considers most of the officers on the ship to be family, and despite his pacifist mindset, he is considered one of the strongest members on the ship, capable of taking down Godzilla-sized monsters by himself if given the right weapons to work with. Other: Cosmo is basically a huge socially-awkward dork/cryptid who is currently madly in love with Alex. #1 - "Rose" Name: Alex Gender: Male Sexuality: Homosexual (He also likes the dudes) Species: Feline Personality: Alex is a friendly, happy-go-lucky cat who enjoys two things: other people and flowers. He enjoys meeting new people and tending to his tiny flower garden on the ship, and is one of the most popular members of the ship "Luminary". People are often shocked to hear that he's dating Cosmo, as the two seem to be polar opposites: Alex is quite soft-spoken, while Cosmo acts domineering. Alex enjoys socializing with others, while Cosmo deliberately avoids interacting with anyone but fellow officers. Most of these about Cosmo are not actually true, and when the two are in private it is usually Cosmo who is the soft-spoken and social one. When Alex isn't around Cosmo, he can usually be found tending his tiny garden. While Alex is a generally soft and forgiving person, he is NOT forgiving of anyone who messes with one of two things: his flowers, and his boyfriend. Members of the "Luminary" claim that if anyone dares mess with either of those two things, they could kiss their Luminary career goodbye and probably get to the nearest escape pod ASAP, for Alex is known to become... quite violent when enraged, and not even Cosmo can stop him. Which is saying something, seeing as Cosmo is one of the strongest members of the "Luminary". Backstory: Before meeting Cosmo, Alex lived on a tiny, underdeveloped planet (by IGSU standards anyway) in a small rural community surrounded by nature. His planet is well-known for its beautiful plant life, particularly it's flowers. Alex grew up with two botanists for parents, and naturally, he inherited their love for all things plant-like. It is said that Alex was so good at taking care of plants, that he managed to bring back several endangered plant species from the brink of extinction with his efforts alone! Alex met Cosmo during one of one of the Luminary's regular stops on his planet, as it acted as a resupplying station for the IGSU. Cosmo had initially stepped out of the ship for a quick breather but got hopelessly lost in the town. It was Alex that found him wandering through deserted alleyways by himself, looking hopelessly lost. The two hit it off, and by an unlikely series of events, Alex somehow found himself appointed as Luminary's "Chief Botanist", in charge of cataloging the many species of plants they discovered and came across. Despite getting homesick at times, he quite enjoys living on the "Luminary" with his boyfriend. Other: He's a soft gay plant boi who's very gay for Cosmo
