He wakes up in a forest not knowing who he is. A beautiful faerie named Daealla tells him that darkness is taking over his world, and that he may be the key to stopping it. Daealla tells him she is his guardian and will protect him on his adventures. Firdunn must travel to Neldorlad to find an elf named Kyrtaar Othorian. Kyrtaar will teach him how to be a better fighter and how to defend himself. Along the way Firdunn runs into some trouble and is saved by a mysterious girl with a dagger.
