Welcome to my newest game, The Button, with your host, Sam! Use cards and strategic button pressing to get 10 points before your opponent! Good luck! Tips on how to play: Although your goal is to get 10 points, it can be pretty difficult to obtain. While the button gives you positive points, it can also give its fair share of negative points. What you need to do is catch on to the button's patterns, although they are somewhat random. It decides to give a negative value anywhere within one turn to 10 turns. It is best to press the button after your opponent receives the negative value. In this game, after three or so turns, you receive a card. There are four different types of cards: -2: subtracts two points from your opponent's score. It is best to use when you are either far behind or if your opponent has more than 1 point. Reveal: This card is very helpful. When you place this card, a sign appears on the button. If the button has a plus (+) on it, it will provide you with a positive value. If the button has a minus sign (-) on it, it will subtract points from your score. The best thing to do in this instance would be to pass your turn. Double: This card is beneficial when you are nearly definite that the button will give you a positive value. Instead of giving you a point, it would add two points to your score; but if it is a negative value, it would subtract four points instead of two. Sam: This card can either hurt you or benefit you. You can take up to three turns in a row by clicking the button three times after you select the card. When you see a red card that pops up after you take your turn, it means that your opponent is playing a card against you. For instance, if you were to see a red "-2' card, then two points would be subtracted from your score. The green cards that pop up belong to you, while the red cards belong to your opponent.
