Name: Oak Gender: Male Personality: Brave, Shy, Quiet. Appearance: A plain white underbelly, tail tip, and paws, and tan everywhere else. Age: Adult Back`Story: Oak was born as a domesticated cat. He was always able to go outside and feel the breeze in his whiskers. One day, his friend next door begged him to go into the forest. Finally, Oak said yes. They adventured around, standing on rocks, and sliding across dirt. ``I bet you can't stand on that rock above the river!`` His friend taunted. Oak was quiet and nervous, trying to hold back his anger and fear. He slowly padded up the slippery rock. Once he got to the end, he winked at his friend. ``I did it! You sh-`` He got cut off as the rock became unstable, tilting him off into the river. He fell into the frosty cold water, yowling as hard as he could. But the river had already taken him. Oak woke up, surprised to see the the sand between his toes. He looked up, seeing a old gray cat. ``I'm Stone. We saved you from drowning.`` Stone explained. Oak shivered, then asked. ``We?`` He nodded as another cat came out. ``I'm Spruce.`` He nodded, then felt embarrassed as his belly growled. ``Eat it young 'n.`` Stone said, passing a mouse to Oak. He stuck out his tongue. ``Who would eat that?`` Spruce explained forest cats, and this is how they survive, and Oak nervously stared at it. ``O-Okay...I'll eat it...`` Oak quietly said. He took a nibble. Oak thought it was his imagination, but it tasted wonderfully. He ate the mouse within seconds. ``Come here...Uh...`` Spruce tried to think of Oak's name. ``Oak.`` Oak corrected. Stone nodded as Oak followed them into the barn. ``Welcome. This is where we live.`` Spruce said cheerfully. Oak wanted to say `It's not that cozy-looking...`, but he didn't want to give a bad first impression. He just jumped on the ladder, and padded up to the top. Oak rested down, and smiled. ``Its cozier than I thought.`` He murmured as Stone and Spruce plopped down beside him. He had everything he wanted. Food, A Cozy Home, Friends, and most of all, his life.
