And all you have to do to join is fill out this bio + ================================================= I N S T R U C T I O N S There are myriad species that thrive on Cepheus Prime, just about any mythical species you can think of that does not take human form. You may create any of these creatures as your character, though the primary players of this station are dragons. They come in five breeds that each break down into their own classes: Naturae-- Water, Jungle and Forest Volcanic-- Magma, Fire and Ash Prinuae-- Mountain and Frost Territe-- Sand, Stone and Earth Vampiric-- No sub classes. Provided are templates for each of these. You can take a template from the same breed to convert it to another class, following this dragon guide: Water Naturae: Light-dark blues, bluish-greens. light/medium armor scales. Forest Naturae: Dark greens, larger than Jungle Naturae but with same feathery spines running down spine. light/medium armor scales. Branching treelike horns. Jungle Naturae: Primarily greens but can be almost any color other than black and white and blue. Light armor scales. Ash Volcanic: Comes in grays and blacks. The stockiest of the Volcanic breed, with heavy armor scales. Horns look cut from stone. Magma Volcanic: Dark reds with golden or amber highlights. Medium and heavy armor scales. Fire Volcanic: Ruby reds, rarely orange or golden. Leanest of the Volcanic breed. Medium and heavy armor scales. Stone Territe: Larger than Earth but smaller than Sand, they take the appearance of literal moving boulders with the color of any grayish stone whatsoever. Earth Territe: Slightly smaller than their Sand brothers, and dark brown in color. Sand Territe: Largest of all species of dragons. Colors ranging from light browns to golden-sandy. Jagged horns and ridges running down spine. Males lack both magic hearts and females lack one. All have heavy armor scales. Frost Prinuae: Lean in stature, pale blue or white scales with purplish or pink hints. Jagged horns and ridged medium armor scales. Mountain Prinuae: Grayish variants of Frost, colors that look like a snowy stone mountain. Wider in stature with medium and heavy armor scales. Vampiric: Dark reds/blacks/blues in color with red/purple/blue spine membrane. Twisted horns, black fangs. (Yes, these guys are vampires of sorts.) ================================================= C H A R A C T E R C R E A T I O N A G E : Dragons live for many millennia. From 0-1000, they are considered dragonets, or children. From 1000-3000 They are considered something related to teenagers. From 3000-4000 They are like young adults. At 4000, they begin to properly mature, though they aren't considered full adults until 5000 years of age. M A G I C K: Magic is divided into two groups: Light and Dark. All species (minus the Territes) have both a Light and Dark magic heart, which is the source of this power. Dark magic includes Earth, Water and Air elemental abilities, and Light magic has Fire and weak control of Air. All forms of battle magic are included in Dark Magic, while healing is Light magic. All dragons (minus Territes) have capabilities for any form of magic, though dragons will find elemental magics of their own breed easier to master. Be warned, Dark Magic is forbidden on Cepheus Prime. V A M P I R I C S : These dragons are similar to what you may think of as vampires. Vampirics do not specifically need blood-- They require an extremely high percentage of magic in their diet, and since dragons carry magic in their very blood, it was biological that they fed on the blood of other dragons. ================================================ B I O + Please be sure to read the notes inside various sprites to make your bio operate correctly for viewers. +To change pages on the "Bio" page, press space, and click to close. +You can mark the map however you wish, though a dot would make it easiest to interpret where in the district you live. ================================================ G E N E T I C S + Dragons have their own form of genetics, and should you wish to develop a hybrid (which are not overly uncommon on Cepheus Prime), please follow these rules: +Male dragons will take 75% of their DNA from their mother, meaning that if you have a male character that is a hybrid between a Water Naturae mother and a Stone Territe father, the character would be more Naturae than Territe. + Female dragons take 50% from both, so that one's a little easier to understand. + It is technically possible for a dragon to have multiple fathers, or none at all. I'm not going to go into details, but it is something that you may use in creating your character. ================================================= M A G I C A L R A N K I N G + Dragons have a specific magical ranking in regard to their blood type, and it is something to keep in mind as it determines how magically powerful your character can be. + Dragons with reddish blood have little or no magic + Dragons with purple blood have moderate magic capacities + Dragons with violet blood have high magic capacities + Dragons with blue blood are the most powerful in regards to magic. These dragons are referred to as "Royals" and are nearly extinct. Any species is capable of being a Royal, though it is least likely among lesser magic breeds. For a dragon to be a Royal, both parents must also have been, making them even rarer. (There are currently only four Royals in Cepheus Prime Canon, and I will allow only a couple people to make them for the role-play) Red: All Territes. Sand territes have no magic whatsoever. Purple: Forest Naturae, Jungle Naturae, Magma Volcanic, Fire Volcanic, Ash Volcanic, Mountain Prinuae. Violet: Frost Prinuae, Water Naturae, Vampiric . ================================================= N A M E S Dragons have unique names, and most of them will have welsh bases, often with complicated spellings such as Gwyndion. They are taught by one teacher for these centuries and just about every general thing (like in regular grade school). +Once a dragon turns 1000, they spend the next two thousand years attending specialized classes to pursue whatever career they desire (Sort of like college). +After 3000 years of age, dragons may begin work or initiate an apprenticeship, in which they work for the people of their desired career with the intent of gaining experience in that field. +Given the amount of time a dragon has to study, it is not uncommon for them to take on multiple careers. However, dragon careers are often very complicated-- Magic, for example, isn't easy to learn.
