The meaning of this one is that depression can take many forms: sometimes it can be a protection from the harsh reality, but other times it can pull you in. Either way, it's an effort to escape, but it's more difficult if you unwillingly get sucked into the darkness. The only way you can escape that is if someone holds the key that will break you out of your prison. However, often times you recover and begin to tell people secrets that you've hidden for so long, only to see them resurface later and be thrown in your face.
