Malachi was once insane in a different form, but got defeated and purified, causing him to lose his memory. He is a scourge/fallen Aasimar hybrid, thus causing him to be True Neutral in alignment. Due to people not trusting him and even flat-out hating him and attempting to kill him, he's suicidal and hates his own emotions. He doesn't believe in any deities anymore.
