To play you just have use the left and right arrows to move left and right, and use up to jump and down to spindash/homing attack! As long as you have at least one ring, whenever you get hit you will just lose all of your rings instead of dying. You can also get rings by defeating enemies. Most enemies can be simply defeated by jumping on, or spindashing into, or using the homing attack on, them.
