Lavender is a five year old feathered dragon who is being trained by Lydia. (see: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/210361716/). She has a pale, almost fur-like coat of feathers over her scales in order to protect her from the cold climate of her original home. A purple mane starts at her feather-covered horns and reaches from her neck to her tail. Risks: Like many female dragons, she will fiercely protect her trainer at any cost. This can turn a friendly visit very dangerous very quickly. If she perceives you as a threat, she will fan out her mane and hiss at you before attacking. Another risk is to her trainer: Lavender loves to snuggle and, unfortunately, her size can crush weaker beings. She has learned not to rub herself against things smaller than her over several unfortunate incidents -all survived- but she may still pose a threat. (she does, however, react well to being pet, indicating she is a kind individual who may do well with families. still, distance is advised if you are untrained.) weaknesses / strengths: She is weak to larger dragons and has difficulty navigating difficult terrain containing lots of foliage. This is because her wings often get stuck in vines and trees, and her claws get hooked on ferns. Lavender is especially good at flying and staying balanced. She has three somewhat dull, thick back claws that can easily penetrate dirt, ice, snow, and sand. When her claws have sunk into the ground, she tightens them in a fist-like way that allows her to stay rooted in place. This makes it easier for her to stand still or stand on two legs while fighting to make herself appear larger. Size: She is a young dragon, which excuses her somewhat small size, although she is growing at a slower rate than most. Personality: Lavender is fierce and overprotective. She gets very jealous at anyone who so much as glances at her trainer. She is also very ''motherly'' and has lots of love to offer those she cares about. She will stop at no cost to make those around her happy and safe. Unfortunately, she is also very rash in her decision making and often fights before even beginning to consider other possible solutions to a problem.
