You're just making it hard on yourself and I. - You don't need to have read Crookedstar's Promise-- you may need some knowledge of Warriors, though. - Slightly altering the designs for your own animation needs is okay-- you don't need to follow Mapleshade's patches directly. And I tried to make Crookedkit not too hard to animate. - Ask me about any other questions. - Since this is a fairly short MAP, have it be as many sprites as you need.
