Instructions

Try to find Scratch Cat who may not be his/her normal colour. (That would be too easy). Press the Spacebar key if you can't find Scratch Cat. Timed Game with Hall Of Fame ------------------------------------------ Find and Click on Scratch Cat. Repeat 10 times, then see your time. Note that the "hitbox" is a circle, so clicking close to Scratch Cat on either side will also register as a "hit". (If you use the Space key that turn will count as 10 seconds) Hall of Fame ----------------- After 2 seconds you can click the Hall of Fame to hide it. Then Green Flag or click the title page to start a new game. Version 2 Updates: There is now a Monthly Hall Of Fame and an All Time Hall Of Fame. Key <H> will display the Monthly Hall Of Fame, Key <W> will display the World All Time Hall Of Fame.

Description

Version 2 with Monthly and All Time Halls Of Fame. * Bug: HOF names & times may not be added after a monthly reset (if the HOF is displayed before a game is played) Please comment on my profile page if it needs resetting for a new month - I run "Reset Monthly Cloud Scores" and all is ok. * Huge thanks to @gor-dee for his "Cloud Top Ten Times Scoreboard Engine" https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/24653967/ I modified the code to show the best times in seconds (rather than in hours minutes seconds). More notes on the HOF below. This project Where's Scratch Cat? is based on the Where's Wally? picture books. Where's Wally? is a British series of children's puzzle books created by the English illustrator Martin Handford. Where's Wally? was published in the US and Canada using the name Where's Waldo?. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where%27s_Wally%3F gor-dee's Hall of Fame ------------------------------ * Huge thanks to @gor-dee for his "Cloud Top Ten Times Scoreboard Engine" https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/24653967/ I modified the code to show the best times in seconds (rather than in hours minutes seconds). I had written my own simpler Hall of Fame code before I discovered gor-dee's code with these extra features: - costumes detect upper and lowercase letters in usernames. - the 10 best times and usernames are compacted into 4 cloud variables (I used 10 cloud variables for the 10 HOF entries). - the Hall of Fame looks nicer printed in colours with a Text Engine.
