This program will play for the number of specified beats and then tell you about how long the beat lasted (it might be a fraction of a second longer than it really is because it takes a tiny amount of time to process the code). If you enter in a long number and need to cut the sound quick, hit the red stop button next to the green flag. In Scratch, one full beat = one second. If you enter in anything except numbers, it won't work.
