Instructions

Please scroll down for information on tank types, and instructions on how to play. There are now two sets of controls! Set 1 (Recommended): WASD to move Use your mouse to aim. Right click on the mouse, or use the Space Bar to fire. Press "E" to fire a missile Press "Q" to lay a mine. Press "R" to respawn Press "F" to view your FPS (Slows down game!) Set 2 (Old controls, a little less efficient) Arrow Keys To Move Use the mouse to aim Left Click with the mouse to fire Press "V" to fire a missile Press "M" to lay a mine Press "R" to respawn Don't get shot! Press "m" or "q" to lay a mine. Press "v" or "e" to fire a missile. Missiles only affect bosses. Guide the missile with your mouse. Tanks: * Black tanks shoot normal bullets at a normal rate. * Brown tanks shoot rocket shells that can penetrate brown walls. * Green tanks shoot normal bullets at a fast rate. * Dark Blue tanks shoot plasma that seek out enemy tanks. * Purple tanks lay mines that explode when you get close. * Giant Sentry Guns are bosses that have a complete AI firing system. * Mini Sentry guns fire in one direction, and never change that direction. * Light Blue tanks shoot three bullets, each in a different direction. * Lime Green Tanks shoot three missiles, each in a different direction. * Pink Tanks shoot normal bullets at an extremely fast rate! * Grey Tanks shoot Homing Missiles that can penetrate walls. * Light Purple Tanks shoot spike bombs that shoot spikes out as they fly. * The Giant Black Tanks (With the number 130) are highly advanced, and highly dangerous Boss Tanks. This Tank has three cannons * The Purple Tanks can build walls to block the player! * The Light Brown Tanks shoot missiles that can travel over walls! Press the "Go To Series 2" or "Go To Series 3" Buttons to go straight to sets of harder levels! Series 3 Boss Battle is now released!!!! You can not shoot or travel through brown walls. This made it so you couldn't shoot! v 0.9.9 Update on 5-8-2018 - WOW, this is incredible! Thanks so much for 22k views! In this update, I used some coding tricks I've learned in the last two years to help increase the fps by a marginal amount. This project will still lag without a doubt, but not nearly as much as before! v 0.9.8 Update on 6-2-2016 - In this update I added even more new sound files to the project, including a new air raid siren (replacing the old, scratchy one), and a new song for Boss battles 1 & 2! v 0.9.7 Update on 5-21-2016 - This update brought some new sound files to the game for the Plasma tank, Ghost Missile tank, and a few other tanks! v 0.9.6 Update on 5-15-2016 - I fixed a spawn glitch involving mines placed by enemies kindly brought to my attention by @PixelatedBro *whoop whoop* 2 year anniversary! v 0.9.5 Update on 10-6-2015 - I added 2 more levels to Series 3!!!! v 0.9.4 Update on 9-28-2015 - This time, I added a new level to series 3!!! Try it out! v 0.9.3 Update on 9-21-2015 - In this update, I fixed (technically, worked-around) a timer glitch!! Sometimes, the scratch In-Game timer would lag for about a second, resulting in some game-play problems. I hope this is the last glitch I have to work out!!! v 0.9.1 Update on 9-15-2015 - In this update, I adjusted the health of the Jet in the third boss battle, to help with some in-game balancing! v 0.8.2 Update on 8-22-2015 - I have now released the Third Boss Battle!!!!!!!! I won't provide too much detail here, but feel free to try it out for yourself!!! v 0.8.1 Update on 6-23-2015 - This update made the game slightly more compatible with laggy computers, because I slowed the Player's rate of fire, and deleted an old script from version 0.1.1 that lagged the bullet clones! It was one of the oldest scripts in the game! v 0.7.9 Update on 5-27-2015 - When testing the new boss battle, I realized on some computers, the game lags a lot, so I have gone through the project, exploiting all of the "RAM Consumers" in the game, and this update fixed all of those lag-causing scripts. Some of those sprites included the: FPS Indicator (It calculated the FPS even when hidden), the crosshairs (They moved even when hidden), and the Rocket Launcher Targeting Sprites (They ran even when you weren't playing the Third Boss Battle). v 0.7.8 Update on 5-25-2015 - In this update, I added an FPS indicator, which shows the speed of your game. Please note, this will slow down your game! v 0.7.7 Update on 5-23-2015 - In this update, I improved the Title Screen Tanks, by making the bullets a separate sprite than the actual tanks themselves, removing a duplication glitch, and lag. v 0.7.6 Update on 5-21-2015 - This updated brought a new feature that I have wanted for a long time now: A New Title Screen Song!! I the next update, I plan on adding a little intro to this game!! v 0.7.5 Update on 5-19-2015 - In this update I added a line of code to the new Player Movement script. Now, the tank points where it is going, instead of pointing at the mouse/pointer. v 0.7.4 Update on 5-18-2015 - Not much of an update, but if you have a keen eye, you might notice that the buttons are re-arranged, and of slightly higher image quality. v 0.7.3 Update on 5-12-2015 - A pretty small update, I just added a version indicator in the bottom right corner, so I can tell what versions re-mixes were made at. v 0.7.2 Update on 5-7-2015 - This is arguably one of the best updates. The average player may not notice this too much, but I completely re-scripted the Player's Tank movement sprite!! Every tank now has a hitbox, and can not be driven over (unlike previous versions, where you could drive through tanks, and even bosses). It is also impossible to get stuck in a wall now, thanks to 6 new variables. Check the website for more info!!! v 0.7.1 Update on 2-2-15 - I made the first level of Series 3 look neater, and also added more script to the wall building tank! v 0.6.3 -older changelogs redacted due to char limit
