Use the right and left arrows to adjust the rotation. Use the up and down arrows to adjust the"bulge" up and down. Press space to advance the style and direction of the waves. Press R to reset all squares to the same size and direction. Press C to shift the squares' costumes. Press B to change the backdrop. Press H to hide or show the variables.
This is just a bunch of squares spinning in place at a constant rate. I'm interested in the patterns that emerge from such a simple system. If a sprite has a "this sprite only" variable, you can assign different values to each clone when it's first created. This in essence allows you to "address" each clone individually in your code - a trick I've put to use recently in a few projects, including my Colored Pencils and my Holiday Lights projects.
