Whoops, I peered inside this project and the system thought I re-uploaded it. It's a project from October 2011, nothing new. That being said, it was created in Scratch 1.4, so performance may not be as intended. A manual is in the project btw!
February 16 (2012) Fixed another bug with the eighth instrument; if you don't want to redownload Orchestral Studio, you can simply go to the Edit fragment 1 script in the Drum 3 sprite and make the last part of the script match up with the rest of it. Again, sorry D: October 30 (2011) 0:45 AM Scratch Time: Fixed a bug with the eighth instrument; if you were using Orchestral Studio before the update and you want to use the eighth instrument, you'll have to re-download or manually fix it by changing the "Note 7" lists to "Note 8" in the sprite "Note 8". It only takes a couple minutes to fix ;) But anyway, sorry everyone D: ---------- This project took a couple months of dedicated programming and designing - please follow what the project tells you to do, listen to the example music, and maybe tweak a few notes :3 You don't have to if you don't want to, but I'd really appreciate it; I put a lot of effort into Orchestral Studio. EDIT: Featured, October 25 2011 - thanks so much :3 ---------- Please download; online, it's laggy, glitched, and the instruments sound terrible D: ---------- A few months ago, I wanted to have a music program to play around with: I created Orchestral Studio. It can do everything I want and I don't have any problems with it, so it'll probably work well enough for your needs. The example music already in the project will show you what Orchestral Studio can do. TBH descriptions don't hold as much value as the real thing - listen to it for yourself :P I composed the example music myself; please don't steal it. (And no I'm not saying that it's good or anything like that) Orchestral Studio features: *8 note instruments, all independent of each other and able to hold many (32) notes at a time (256 total) *All 128 instruments available with Scratch 1.4 *4 drum instruments, all independent of each other *All 47 drums available with Scratch 1.4 *The ability to duplicate multiple beats at once *The ability to transpose multiple beats at once *Infinite song length (well as much length as Scratch's capable of anyway) *An in-project manual that should clear everything up for you And more ^^ You can always read the forum topic for more details, but you'll obviously get way more by trying the project out :P If you have any questions about Orchestral Studio and how to use it, feel free to ask - but please read the in-project manual first; it might have the answer for you. Enjoy creating music! ^^ Jonathanpb
