Use the arrow keys to navigate the menu, and Z to select. Use the arrow keys to move and to direct your attacks. Press X for a smash attack and Z for a special attack, as well as C to shield and V to grab. Smash attacks can be charged, while special attacks cannot. To activate a Final Smash, press Z. Aim it with the mouse, and press Z to use it. --------------------------UPDATE LOG----------------------------(3-8-18): Early release to celebrate announcement of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch. (3-28-18): Improved grabbing functionality. (3-29-18): Added Inkling Boy, an opening, and a character selection screen! (There's no Inkling Girl because her hair is hard to animate, alas.) (3-30-18): Made Inkling's damage percentage visible and made the correct percentage appear for each character. (4-17-18): Fixed a bug that made the unfinished Smash Ball appear, as well as one that made the Sandbag invincible to the Inkling's Splashdown move. (4-20-18): Added the Smash Ball and Final Smashes, as well as the option to skip the intro by pressing Z! (6-20-18): Changed the project name from Super Smash Bros. Switch Movesets to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Movesets to reflect the game's official title. (9-8-18): Updated Final Smashes. The screen will now darken and Captain Toad will not disappear and cannot use any normal moves. Some problems with ink have been resolved. (2-21-20): Reshared the project following an incident in which it was removed, presumably due to a joke report of some kind. (10-19-22): Fixed an issue where the Sandbag's damage counter appeared before it should have.
Quick note: This project was, at one point, removed by the Scratch Team, for being "an exact copy of someone else's original." This is, in fact, an original project, and my guess is that someone reported it as a joke. I have reshared it under this assumption, but if the Scratch Team sees a reason for me to take it down again, I will. I created these movesets shortly before it was announced that Super Smash Bros. was coming to the Nintendo Switch, and shared the project on the day of the announcement. Obviously, the Inkling's moveset is not accurate to the final game, and Captain Toad did not make it in at all. Thanks to @dugdale for the Captain Toad sprite. His sprites were based off of one that @loleegee2003 made. Check out his animation here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/157228299/#player Thanks to @waaaa24 for the Inkling sprites, which I modified for use in this game. The squid sprite was made by @Peekystar. @jump102 made the roller and charger sprites. The Smash Ball was made by AWildFatmanAppeared on DeviantArt. All other art is by me, and feel free to use it! The physics are a modified version of a script that @djpro made. Obviously, Captain Toad, Splatoon, and Super Smash Bros. are all owned by Nintendo and so they get credit as well. Below are the movesets I came up with: -------------------------------Movesets----------------------------- Captain Toad: Special Attacks Standard: Turnip Throw Side: Minecart Up: Flaptor Down: Rummage Smash Attacks Standard: Punch Side: Charge Punch Up: Head Bounce Down: Super Pickaxe Final Smash: Turnip Cannon Inkling: Special Attacks: Standard: Ink Spray Side: Squid Up: Splashdown Down: Splat Bomb Smash Attacks: Standard: Splat Charger Side: Roller Up: Upwards Ink Spray Down: Downwards Dualies Final Smash: Inkstrike
