Update 11/26/11: Added comments to make the script legible, and I tweaked the script a little. This one still uses only one costume (the one you see), one sprite, and one script. However, this one also has x-velocity, y-velocity, and slope ability. It has some problems on the 45 degree slopes, but does pretty well on the 30 degree slope. Similar to the last one, replace the costume with any costume and it will work! No code tinkering!
