space When I first started scratch, there were many scratchers that I looked up to. Over the course of 2 years and 3 months, I still look up to these amazing people. I had others, but some have quit or disappeared. The people you see here have stuck with this site for a long time- many years- and I respect that. These are my main inspirations, and deserve more than just the little pieces of art I make for them :)

Description

Silvershimmer43- She was perhaps the first artist I saw who drew cats. I admired her artwork and was awed at the details she put into it. At the time I had no idea how to create digital art- only traditional- and her pieces allowed me to see what you can really create with just a mouse and a screen. ScratchU8- Through his projects I found creativity that I wished to have of my own. My ideas when I was 11 were common and overused. I started to strive for that uniqueness that captivated followers and brought joy to other people. His personality also struck me; he is always so happy and cheerful that it couldn't help but rub off on me ^-^ -SkyStar- Being a newbie on Scratch, I had no real idea of what true animations were like, until I found her. My 10-second clips paled in comparison to the AMVs and projects of her own. I saw what could be accomplished with the Scratch program and how lively my characters could become. Although my animations are still not that great, I could have never gotten anywhere near here without her projects as guidance. WazzoTv- He is more of a recent inspiration than the others. I found artistic ability, creativity, and animations from the other inspirations, but from him I discovered the joy of humor. The time he emerged was a dark time on Scratch, when 2.0 was released. Many great scratcher- many of whom were inspirations of mine- quit, not liking the site and moving on. When his animations were brought out, they reminded me of the fun I had when I first started Scratch. I crack up at each of his projects and they instantly brighten my day :) He is legitimately the funniest guy on Scratch. Sorry for being really nostalgic-y and stuff x'D When I get like this the writer in me just pops out and makes me sound like a weird professional literature girl... oh look its gone XD
