Just a little something that's a bit different :) Following on from the "health bar with pen" (see original), I thought it was worth sharing this concept in case someone has a use for it. Now if only we could (permanently) change the colours... If your OS has slightly different character widths for the fonts used in variable displays, then the right side of the variable displays might move around a bit as the value changes. On my MB Air with 10.9, the only one that moves very slightly is the second one (bottom-left, with the vertical bars and dots). On my older Mac Pro, with 10.4, they all work perfectly for normal player size, but both 2 & 3 grow significantly in fullscreen. :/
