hello friends! this is just a thingy i think about fairly often ^^; i feel like younger artists/artists who haven't been drawing for very long tend to get discouraged when they look at artists who have been drawing for longer than they have. i know sometimes i've seen speedpaints and they looked effortless but amazing! the important thing to remember is that artists whom you consider to be better than you have had different experiences and often //more// experience with art. it takes a lot of work to build up art skill, but if you keep practicing and challenging yourself, you'll be able to make something you're proud of! also ~disclaimer~ this is mostly directed towards drawn art! every art requires practice in order to develop skill so far as i know, but this particular rant thingy is directed towards drawing. have a wonderful day my friends! let me know if you can't read something ^^; ~additional insight~ "As a rather young artist myself, I agree. I think of people's art as something to strive for, and I understand that they were once striving for something to. The thing is, I strive for something that isn't necessarily myself, and I end up losing track. I prefer drawing landscapes, and interpretive abstract, personally." ~@outforlunch feel free to comment your own thoughts on the subject!
