This is for an upcoming game I'm making, where I need the rooms not to intersect with one another. This was my first attempt. NOTE: No online algorithms were used. I did it myself. The program will create a box that comes off the side of another, already created box. It will then check for any intersections around it, and if it overlaps another box, the program will remove it and try again, this time coming off another box it has yet to try. Once it's tried creating a box off of every other box, it quits. speed improvements still to be made.
