This animation was released for @kieranblackley's 'PIXEL - MAP' MAP. The game I did was - as the title of this project dictates - 'Spacewar!' Spacewar! is a computer game, more specifically the oldest digital-screened game being created in 1962 by Martin Graetz, Stephen Russell, and Wayne Wiitanen. It was released on the PDP-1, which is basically a computer with a round screen, blue, box monitor, keyboard and custom control boxes. I put in as much effort I could to make my project as accurate as possible to the original game (for example, the sharp turning the original had, the same speeds, the same turning speed, the slight delay when going into the black hole, the likelihood of going into the black hole compared to circling around or going through, etc.) The things that are not completely accurate include the amount of stars (I was basing the stars off the default stars background from Scratch, and since those stars were too big, I had to shrink them down), and the starting position (I assume they are mid-game when we start watching). While watching, you may notice that the spaceship at the bottom gets hit by a projectile. That's because it takes at least 2 blows from full health (at least as far as I've tested) for a rocket to get destroyed.
