I can't stress that enough.. My pain, his love.. His pain, my love.. The distance between us.. Should be enough to describe the emotion in this picture.. ♥ ♥ ♥ EDIT: Imma post the Artist's Report on this piece in the notes so you can see it :P Artist's Report: First off, if you couldn't tell what that big line in the middle of the screen is, then that represents the distance between us. Rockshadow is obviously digging her claws into the border, because she wants to break through it, but she can't. Therefore, she's crying. Her heart is half black, if you couldn't see, due to Clashfire. It's also bleeding some from pain experienced in life, yet it has a soft glow. That's the goodness & love left. The glow is soft, yet strong. One of my most favorite thing in this picture is the gold and white "whisp." It represents our love for eachother, obviously. I used what I call "Heaven's colors" because gold and white are usually used to represent purity. Although the strands are whispy, you can see that they are still very strong. It's like a magnet, pulling Rockshadow to the other side of the border, but she can't break through it.The love is what's keeping her alive, but the pull is causing her pain since she cant reach it. On Dan's side of the border, I didn't draw him because it helps represent the lonleyness and the distance. I put his heart, or the goodness of it. I do feel his pain when he's hurt, but the love and strength is what is drawing Rockshadow to the other side. If you're wondering why his heart is erased partially, that also represents the distance. The glow of light around it represents the "whisper" of his presence. The reason why the background on my side is gray and pretty much lifeless is because there aren't any "real" friends where I live.. Just rude people and past friends who've stabbed me in the back for fun. My heart lives on in other places, with my true friends. ♥ The blue on Dan's side is like, his color. Your "inner color" or whatever you want to call it, is basicly the color that can be used to represent you in simplest form. Your color is usually the same as your eyes. Rock's color is dark green, for example.
