CHESS SET TEST Just a bit of a test. I'll be making a 2-D chess set where you can move the pieces anywhere they want - they don't have to be in the middle of squares. Oh, and when you capture, you have to take the piece off the board. I think it would be interesting to make and use, so I could set up a bunch of chess positions and it would feel like real chess. We get so used to the capturing piece disappearing by itself. :) Click-and-hold the chess pawn and drag it around. Release to drop the piece. Notice it doesn't centralize itself, just drops. Remember to say 'J'adoube' when adjusting a piece! I'd say it's not too interesting and in the chess set I should make pieces be knocked over when captured, but for now I'm pretty content.
