All tasks are solvable every time. If you try playing many times, you may find some tricks to make completing the tasks easier. Here are the full instructions for each task: The First task - The object of the first task is to steal the golden egg from the dragon's nest. If you get burned by a fireball or you get hit by the dragon, you lose. Use the arrow keys to move around (up, down, left, and right). Hint: You won't be able to run straight for the egg. The Second Task: You have 1 minute to find someone who has been taken hostage by merpeople. The compass at the top of the screen will help you find them. The blue arrow around the compass will point in the direction of the hostage. Try to keep the arrow pointing to the top of your screen. Turn using the right and left arrow keys and change your speed using the up and down arrow keys. You won't be able to swim directly to them, though. You will have to swim out of the way to avoid the Grindylows. The Third Task - Be the first champion to get to the cup. You are competing against the blue dot and the yellow dot. The maze will always be solvable, although the walls may change. You start with three health points (visible in the top right corner). When you encounter a beast (Blast-Ended Skrewt, Acromantula, Hidebehind, or Hippogriff), you will have to fight them. Attack by clicking the screen while the meter points to the center. You will cause the beast to lose 1, 2, or 3 health points depending on how close the meter was to the center when stopped. If the monster has not lost its three health points yet, it will attack back and you will lose a health point. If you lose all of your health points you lose. If you encounter the Sphinx, you will be asked a riddle. Type your answer in the text box and press the Enter key. If you leave the answer blank, you may walk away unharmed. If you answer correctly, you may pass. If you answer incorrectly, you will lose a health point.
