This is the map I'm using for my Mapping history series (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/111469944/), and I thought it would be better to share it so that other people could use it as well. If you want it for a project, just press see inside and put the backdrop into your backpack.
I took the map off Google and did a big clean-up on the sea borders (defining the border, getting rid of grey bits etc.), a job which took several hours. It should be (mostly) accurate.
