This is Maria Reynolds She cheated on her wife, James Reynolds after claiming he beat her, cheated on her, and mistreated her. She was the first recorded... something... scandel in history. Hamilton cheated on Elizabeth Hamilton Schyuler with this woman, and later got in trouble with Thomas Jefferson, Aaron Burr, And James Maddison because he was paying James Reynolds to not tell his wife about the '' Mishap ( dont ban me scratch :') ) '' with Maria Reynolds, and later got blamed for messing with the government funds. The Reynolds Pamphlet was also released in the summer of 1797 and written by Hamilton himself, Explaining what he did. His wife found out what he had done and that's when all heck broke loose.
