Instructions

When they were young children, Elsa and Anna enjoyed playing with Elsa's fire powers. She could shoot flames up as tall as the trees and often started large bonfires. One cold night, the girls were playing, when Elsa accidentally hits her sister's head with a blast of fire. Fortunately, her parents got her to the mystical rock trolls in time to be healed- however, Anna lost all memory to prevent trauma. Their parents decide it would be best if Elsa kept her powers a secret, and kept her and Anna separate. Thus began the long drought in Arendelle, as Elsa could hardly control her powers. Sadly the king and queen died on a trip, orphaning to girls until Elsa came of age and became queen. At the reception, Anna and Prince Hans announce their engagement and Elsa mistakenly sets fire to the castle in surprise and anger and flees for her life to the south volcano. Due to the long drought, the fire quickly spreads, and soon the whole kingdom was burned up. Anna puts it upon herself to find Elsa and trudges through the charred wasteland until she crosses paths with a lumberjack named Kristoff. The two set out, meet a living ember, Olaf, and continue their journey to find Elsa, who has built a spectacular, fiery castle on the side of the volcano. When Anna tries to persuade Elsa to go home, Elsa accidentally strikes her in the heart with her fire. On their return home, Kristoff notices a lock of Anna's hair is singed. He takes her to his rock troll family, who declare she will die unless cured with an act of true love. Everyone races home, so Hans can kiss Anna and break the curse. Meanwhile, Hans and his army journey to Elsa's castle to force her to return home. During the battle, she is knocked unconscious and wakes up imprisoned in a small room, bound in chains. Hans asks her to stop the drought, and Elsa confesses she doesn't know how. Anna finds Hans and tells him of her curse. In a sudden turn of events, however, Hans admits he never loved Anna and leaves her to burn up and die. Hans tells everyone Elsa killed Anna and it is decided Elsa will have to be killed. She escapes into the wasteland, volcanic ash clouding her vision, where Kristoff happens to be, returning to save Anna. Hans tells Elsa Anna died because of her, and in her grief, her powers cease. Anna has stumbled onto the wasteland to get to Kristoff before her body turns to embers. Suddenly Anna sees Hans about to kill Elsa and throws herself between them. Her body is consumed by flames as the sword hits, melting the blade. Elsa sobs at her sister's feet, and Anna begins to cool off, since her decision to save her sister counts as an act of true love. The two sisters reunite, and a gentle rain begins to fall, ending the everlasting drought.
