If you are good at adding with 10 then here's a trick you can use when adding numbers to 9: subtract 1 from the number and add it to 10. eg: 9+6= 10+5 3) Double to practice adding doubles 4) Almost double to practice adding a number with another that is almost the same. If you are good at adding doubles then here's a trick you can use when adding 'almost doubles': Double the smaller of the two and add 1. eg: 6+7=6+6+1.
