The dark gray cat is the father(or foster father, or the cat the character sees as a father if their father is dead or something else) The pale gray cat is the mother(or the foster mother, or the cat the character sees as a mother if their mother is dead or something else) And the two white cats are the medicine cat and his/her apprentice(or the character's littermate or little sibling, if they have one), white the light gray cat is the character who is dying.
