Instructions

[The speech script is disconected]. Press the Green Flag to start. Press Left/Right to move the red point and change the length of the red side and of the hypotenuse. Press Up/down to move the green marker and change the length of green side and of the hypotenuse. The black anchor point is fixed yet all three sides can change. The BLUE side of the triangle is the changing HYPOTENUSE (opposite the black anchor point at 90º). NOTE 1: 3² + 4² = 5² (9 + 16 = 25). Sqrt of Hypotenuse = length of blue side. NOTE 2: Squares get distorted at the edges of the stage.

Description

The right-angled triangle starts with sides of length; green side (3), red side (4) and blue hypotenuse (5). Increase the green side by one square (Up arrow). What other changes have happened? Decrease the green by one square (Down arrow) and increase the red side (move red marker Left arrow). What changes have happened now? Return to start and explore different sizes of Right-angled triangles. By Seamus O'Neill
