She decided to add it in her junk collection in her poorly-made hut. Mei's a minor hoarder. Turns out, the mask has some magical properties that will control the unknown owner's minions, and Mei didn't notice. Mei's oblivious to it's true power and uses the minions to do her chores. Yep. Great backstory, 10/10
