His necklace is just another thing that Ember and I ripped off of InuYasha XD It makes him faceplant into the ground whenever Emberfur says "sit", and he can't take it off no matter how hard he tries. He wasn't treated kindly at all growing up so he trusts no one quickly. He used to be in love with Kilarca until Jubaku set them up to betry each other. Kilarca died from a wound she thought was from Speck, and was later ressurected by a demon owl. Finding her alive, he realized he still had feelings for her and vowed to kill Jubaku for doing this. He began to develop feelings for Emberfur, and everyone but him seems to know that she has a crush on him as well. This makes him look like a two timer. He is around the age of 200, but appears and has the mindset of a cat Emberfur's age. Demons and half demons live for a very long time, so 200 is like 12 months to them.
